Round extending dining table manufactured by the renowned British furniture maker McIntosh in the 1960s, representing an excellent example of elegant mid-century modern design. Its harmonious form, slender legs, and subtly sculpted tabletop edge lend the piece a sense of lightness and timeless appeal.

Crafted from rosewood, the table features exceptionally decorative, richly figured grain that beautifully highlights the noble character of the wood. It is equipped with a practical extension mechanism that allows the tabletop to be enlarged smoothly and effortlessly. The extension leaf is conveniently stored within the table when not in use.

The table has undergone a comprehensive restoration. The surface was cleaned of its old finish, painted in a rosewood tone, and finished with Rustins Danish Oil, enhancing the natural beauty and depth of the wood grain.

The table retains its original maker’s label.
