This extendable teak dining table was manufactured by the Scottish furniture maker A.H. McIntosh & Co. in the 1960s. The model is distinguished by its elegant, lightweight form and timeless design, characteristic of British Mid-Century Modern furniture. The slender, gently tapered legs and subtly shaped apron give the piece a refined and visually light appearance.

The table is crafted from teak with a natural wood grain. It is fitted with a practical extension mechanism that allows the tabletop to be quickly and easily enlarged with a single extension leaf, increasing its length from 148 cm to 193 cm. This makes it well suited for both everyday use and family gatherings or entertaining. The piece is signed.

The table has undergone a comprehensive professional restoration. The wooden surfaces were stripped of the old finish, stained in a rosewood tone, and finished with high-quality Danish oil, enhancing the natural grain of the teak while providing durable protection.
