Mid-Century Model PH 5 Pendant Lamp by Poul Henningsen for Louis Poulsen, 1960s

This is a Poul Henningsen’s 1958 design based on the principle of a reflective three-shade system, which directs the majority of the light downwards. The PH5 lamp was launched in 1958: the 5 in its name refers to its 50 cm diameter. The shades are in red lacquered aluminum.The lamp is in very good condition, with slight signs of wear – the inside has a yellow tint. The cabling has been replaced with new ones. The lamp has been tested and is in working order.
