Mid-Century Model PH 5 Pendant Lamp by Poul Henningsen for Louis Poulsen, 1960s

This is a Poul Henningsen’s 1958 design based on the principle of a reflective three-shade system, which directs the majority of the light downwards. The PH5 lamp was launched in 1958: the 5 in its name refers to its 50 cm diameter. The shades are in violet lacquered aluminum. The lamp is in very good condition with light signs of wear. The wiring has been replaced. It has been tested and is in working order.
