The EA124 lounge chair is one of the greatest furniture designs of the 20th century. Charles and Ray Eames designed the armchair in 1958 for the private residence of industrialist J. Irwin Miller. When constructing the seat, the design pair moved away from the principle of a seat shell, instead stretching a fabric or leather panel between two aluminum stringers to create a taut but flexible seat. The chair has a swivel base with adjustable inclination. The chair adapts to the body and is extremely comfortable. The armchair has been professionally refurbished. The armchair has been upholstered and upholstered with high-quality black material. The aluminum elements have been cleaned and polished and are in very good/perfect condition.
