Mid-Century Freestanding Rosewood Desk by Kai Kristiansen for Feldballes Møbelfabrik, 1960s

This desk designed Kai Kristiansen and manufactured by Feldballes Møbelfabrik in Denmark in the 1960s. It is a good example of high quality materials and manufacturing. This desk is made out of rosewood. In front find bookshelves and two lockable cabinets. In the back features two drawer modules with three drawers each. The rosewood elements have been cleaned from the old surface and painted in an rosewood mordant and finished with a strong semi-gloss lacquer.
