Mid-Century Nightstands from White & Newton, 1960s

A pair of bedside tables manufactured by the British White & Newton manufactory in the 1960s in Portsmouth. The furniture consists of a cabinet located in the lower part and a drawer. Grooved drawers and profiled handles give the cabinet uniqueness. Mahogany wood cabinets, after a comprehensive carpentry renovation, have been cleaned of the old coating, painted with an oak-colored stain, and finished with varnish.
