A set of six Art Deco Gondola chairs manufactured by the French manufacturer Rene Melin in Paris in the 1930s. The chairs are made of beechwood, with birch knotwood veneer in the backrest. The chairs have undergone a comprehensive renovation, with the wood surface stripped, painted with oak stain, and finished with a stronq semi-matte varnish. The spring-mounted seats have been upholstered in new, high-quality black genuine leather.
