3,490.00

The EA124 & EA125 aluminum armchair and footstool is one of the greatest furniture designs of the 20th century. Charles and Ray Eames designed the armchair and footstool in 1958 for the private residence of industrialist J. Irwin Miller. When constructing the seat, the designer pair moved away from the principle of a seat shell, instead stretching a fabric or leather panel between two aluminum stringers to create a taut but flexible seat. The chair has a swivel base with adjustable inclination. The chair adapts to the body and is extremely comfortable. An armchair (EA124) with an ottoman (EA125) made of black leather is a very comfortable lounge set. The set has been professionally refurbished. Aluminum elements have been cleaned and polished. The old leather was replaced with new natural high-quality black leather.
