This set of six dining chairs was designed by Ib Kofod-Larsen and manufactured in the 1960s by the renowned British furniture maker G-Plan. The model is an excellent example of Mid-Century Modern design, combining an elegant and lightweight form with exceptional comfort and the timeless aesthetic characteristic of the work of one of the most celebrated Danish designers of the twentieth century.
The chair frames are crafted from teak wood with beautiful natural grain. Their slender proportions, gently tapered legs, and distinctively shaped backrests give the chairs a refined sense of visual lightness. The ergonomic design of the backrests ensures a high level of seating comfort.
The set has undergone comprehensive woodworking restoration. The wooden elements were stripped of the old coating and finished with high-quality Danish oil, which enhances the natural beauty of the teak wood, highlights the depth of its grain, and provides durable surface protection. The upholstery interiors have been replaced, and the seats have been reupholstered in a high-quality green fabric.
