The Rungstedlund dining table was designed by Ole Wanscher and manufactured in the 1960s by Poul Jeppesen in St. Heddinge, Denmark. The design was originally created for the dining room of Karen Blixen’s home, Rungstedlund.

The table is crafted from mahogany and exemplifies Ole Wanscher’s refined approach to Danish Modern furniture design, combining elegant proportions with exceptional craftsmanship.

The table has undergone a comprehensive professional restoration. The surface was stripped of its original finish, stained in a rosewood tone, and protected with a durable semi-matt lacquer.

The table extends with two additional leaves, increasing its length from 146 cm to 211 cm and up to a maximum of 276 cm, making it suitable for both everyday use and larger gatherings.
