Mid-Century Freestanding Teak Desk by Kai Kristiansen for Feldballes Møbelfabrik, 1960s

This desk is designed to Kai Kristiansen and manufactured by Feldballes Møbelfabrik in Denmark in the 1960s. It is a good example of high quality materials and manufacturing. This desk is made out of teak and is freestanding thanks to the finished backside with an open storage area. The front features two drawer modules with three drawers each. The teak elements have been cleaned from the old surface and painted in an oak mordant and finished with a stronq semi-matt lacquer.
