Mid-Century Modern Teak Nesting Tables Designed by R. Bennett for G-Plan, United Kingdom, 1960s

This set of three teak nesting tables was designed by R. Bennett for the renowned British manufacturer G-Plan during the 1960s. The set is an excellent example of Mid-Century Modern design, combining elegant aesthetics, high-quality craftsmanship, and the functionality characteristic of British furniture from the period.

Crafted from teak wood with natural grain, the tables feature a distinctive lightweight construction with subtly shaped legs and a geometric base, giving them a refined and modern appearance. Thanks to their nesting design, the tables offer excellent functionality while occupying minimal space. They can be used together as a set or individually as side tables, coffee tables, or occasional tables.

The set has undergone comprehensive woodworking restoration. The was stripped of the old coating, stained in an oak colour to enhance the natural grain and bring out its rich, warm tones, and finished with a durable high-quality semi-matt lacquer, providing long-lasting surface protection and an elegant appearance.
