The Comet office chair was designed by Gunilla Allard for the renowned Swedish manufacturer Lammhults in the 1990s. One of the designer’s most celebrated creations, the model is an excellent example of contemporary Scandinavian design, combining minimalist aesthetics with outstanding functionality.

The chair’s distinctive, slender silhouette is complemented by a lightweight five-star polished aluminium swivel base fitted with castors. The ergonomically shaped seat and backrest provide excellent seating comfort, while the elegant aluminium armrests with black pads emphasize the chair’s refined, architectural character.

Gunilla Allard’s design is distinguished by its clean lines, carefully balanced proportions and timeless appearance, allowing the Comet chair to integrate effortlessly into both contemporary office interiors and modernist living or working spaces.

The chair has undergone a comprehensive professional upholstery restoration. The foam padding has been replaced, and the seat and backrest have been upholstered in high-quality black fabric. The aluminium elements have been professionally cleaned and polished, restoring their original appearance and elegant finish.
