Mid-Century Round Teak Extending Dining Table, Denmark, 1960s

This round extending dining table was manufactured in Denmark during the 1960s. The distinctive base with two substantial legs and the round tabletop give the piece an elegant and visually light appearance.

The table is crafted from teak wood and teak veneer. It features a practical extension system with two additional leaves, allowing the length to be increased from 120 cm to 170 cm and then to 220 cm, providing ample space for a larger number of guests.

The table has undergone professional woodworking restoration. The wooden elements were stripped of the old coating, stained in a walnut colour, and finished with a durable high-quality semi-matt lacquer, which enhances the natural beauty of the wood grain and provides excellent resistance for everyday use.
