Mid Century Teak Daybed from Horsens Møbelfabrik, Denmark, 1950s

The Scandinavian teak daybed was manufactured in the 1950s by the Danish manufacturer Horsens Møbelfabrik. The frame features beautiful details, such as rounded corners. It features beautiful, minimalist lines, typical of Danish design. The new mattress with a neck pillow is upholstered in high-quality gray fabric. The mattress is very comfortable thanks to the springs in the bed base. The teak frame was cleaned of the old surface and finished with high-quality Danish oil. A pull-out storage compartment is located under the bed for bedding. A bedding container made of beech wood, cleaned of the old surface, painted with oak stain, finished with a strong semi-matt varnish.
