Mid-Century Teak Sideboard by Beautility, United Kingdom, 1960s

2,990.00

This sideboard was manufactured by the British furniture maker Beautility during the 1960s. The piece is distinguished by its characteristic lightweight form and striking sled-style base, which gives it a dynamic and timeless appearance. A distinctive feature of the design is the combination of circular sculpted door handles and subtly shaped drawer pulls, highlighting the exceptional quality of British Mid-Century Modern craftsmanship.

The sideboard offers a highly functional interior. On the left is a cupboard with a shelf, the centre section features a spacious drop-front drinks cabinet, and the right-hand side is fitted with three generous drawers. This practical layout provides ample storage space for tableware, glassware, documents, and other everyday items.

The cabinet is crafted from teak wood and teak veneer with beautiful natural grain. It has undergone comprehensive woodworking restoration. The wood was stripped of the old coating and finished with high-quality Danish oil, which enhances the depth of colour, highlights the natural beauty of the grain, and provides durable surface protection with an elegant satin finish
